Leamington Uptown Commercial Improvement Plan

Draft #4 of the Leamington Uptown Commercial Improvement Plan is available for your comments. View the document. An informal Public Open House will be held in the Gallery of Town Hall with the consultant from 3 pm to 5 pm on May 28, 2012 and a formal statutory Public Meeting will be held with Council at their regular meeting at 7 pm on May 28, 2012 to receive input from the general public.  Your comments are valuable and we encourage you to attend or to submit comments via email by May 28, 2012.

Leamington Fire Station Facility Review-Request for Proposals

Dog Tag Revewal Notice: Dog tags are due March 31/12 and are available at the Municipal Office for a fee of $18. A late fee of $18.00 will be included on the cost of the dog tag as of Monday, April 2, 2012. Click on this link for more information and an application.

2012 Tax Due Dates: Reminder

Tax information was mailed Jan. 13/12 with installments due Feb. 8, and April 11. Next due dates are June 6, Sept. 12. If you have not received your tax statement please contact Business and Finance Services.

Leamington Transit Lunch Hour Operations

The Leamington Transit will be running through the lunch hour (Noon-1pm) Monday - Saturday. The bus will be arriving at the stops and the same times as shown on the schedule for the other days.

New Address:  The new Municipal Office is located at 111 Erie St. N., Leamington, ON  N8H 2Z9.  Our phone number and email addresses will remain the same however, all staff will now have a new extension. Please listen carefully to the options provided when contacting the Municipal office by phone.

Mill Street Parking Lot #11

A two (2) hour maximum time limit is established for this Mill Street Parking Lot #11 from Monday to Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Cars must be removed from the parking lot at the two (2) hour limit. No municipal parking permits are allowed for this lot.

For information regarding parking lots that permit longer term parking and providing parking permits please contact the Parking Enforcement Officer at 519-326-5761 ext 1113.

Leamington Transit - New Route and Schedule Change

The Leamington Transit route and schedule will be changed effective Friday June 1, 2012. The new route and schedule may be viewed on the Leamington Transit webpage.

 

The new route and schedule will replace the existing regular route and schedule as well as the Friday/Saturday summer service routes and schedules. Bus stop signs are being posted along the new route in locations shown on the route map. Effective Friday June 1, 2012, the hours of operation for the Leamington Transit will be extended to 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.

MGS winners of Charity Volleyball Tournament

The team from MGS was the winner of the Recreational Division in a charity volleyball tournament which raised over $3000 and 235 food items for the Salvation Army.
