TRANSIENT TRADER, PEDDLER & MOBILE VENDOR LICENCE

TRANSIENT TRADER - is a person who carries on business on private property which the person does not own or is not a lessee pursuant to a bona fide lease based upon fair market rent for a term of at least twelve months

PEDDLER - is any person who is not a mobile vendor who travels from place to place throughout the buisness day for the purpose of offering goods for sale

MOBILE VENDOR - a person who uses a vehicle, motorized or not motorized, who travels from place to place throughout the business day for the purpose of offering goods for sale from the vehicle.

Refreshment Stand shall mean any mobile cart from which food and refreshments pursuant to this by-law are for sale or sold for consumption by the public.

SALVAGE YARDS

Salvage yard shall mean the use of land, buildings, or structures where merchandise, articles and goods or things are stored wholly or partly in the open, kept for sale/and or processed for further use and, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, may include a junk yard, a scrap metal yard, and a motor vehicle wrecking yard, but shall not include the disposal of tires, lubricants, refrigerants, petroleum products and other industrial waste and pollutants.
