Mission : Leamington Police Service in Partnership with the community, is dedicated with providing the highest quality of policing through progressive actions to meet our present and future needs.

The Leamington Police service of today evolved from the July 1, 1998 amalgamation of the former Leamington and Mersea Township Police Services.
The amalgamation of the two municipalities followed January 1, 1999.
The “Vision” of the Leamington Police Service is to maintain a safe community in which to live work and visit.
As Chief of Police I am proud to be part of an organization made up of dedicated professionals serving as both sworn police officers and civilian support staff. Our police service currently consists of forty sworn officers and twenty-one full and part time civilian members.
Constant challenges affecting police service delivery are addressed through effective planning, focus on our mission, and a progressive perspective by members of both the police service and Police Services Board.
