As the southern most community in Canada, the Municipality of Leamington is located in southwestern Ontario with a population of 31,000 people.
 The current Leamington Police Service is as a result of the July 1st 1998 amalgamation of the former Leamington and Mersea Township Police Services. Since that time, the police service has grown to 43 sworn officers, and 21 full and part time civilians, policing the entire Municipality of Leamington and former Mersea Township covering 262 square kilometers.
Our officers are trained to handle all types of occurrences, are involved in many community and fund raising projects, and are committed to making Leamington a great place to live and work.
