Dept. of Culture  -    TREE LEGACY PROJECT

Following the tornado on June 5th, 2010 which devastated many parts in Leamington, 68 trees were destroyed or damaged to point that they had to be removed from Seacliff Park. Three large tree trunks remain at Seacliff Park and working with the South Essex Arts Association and the Windsor Es-sex Woodcarvers, a “Tree Legacy Project” was initiated for interested artists to create wood carvings----

3 artists were chosen to carve a tree stump at Seacliff Park

and the results are wonderful ... everyone is enjoying

the new look!   Plus the kids are ecstatic about the

Tomatoman Splash Pad and new playground equipment!!
