Erie Street Road Maintenance ProjectA contractor working on behalf of the Municipality of Leamington will be completing a road maintenance project on Erie Street South between Melrose Avenue and Oak Street beginning Tuesday, August 4, 2020, for approximately four weeks.
During construction, there will be various lane closures along Erie Street South. Please expect occasional traffic delays.
All work operations and lane closures are weather dependent and subject to change.

Leamington LogoOn Monday, July 27, 2020 Council approved Zoning By-law Amendment Application ZBA #215 and passed By-law 53-20 to rezone 721 Mersea Road 5 from Agricultural Residential (A5) Zone to Agricultural General (A1) Zone to permit the construction of a farm help dwelling. Construction of the farm help dwelling is subject to site plan control approval (File Number SPC-01-20).

The Municipality of Leamington will be working on these meter exchanges over the upcoming months with an estimated completion date of December 2020. If your meter is located indoors and has not yet been replaced, please contact Leamington Water Services at 519-326-4454 as soon as possible to schedule an appointment.

Traffic StudyThe Municipality of Leamington has retained McIntosh Perry Consulting Engineers to undertake a study to develop a long-range vision for the area generally bounded by Erie Street South, Oak Street, Sherk Street, and Seacliff Drive, as illustrated in the attached map.
The study will involve:
Identification of operational issues at key intersections and corridors within the study area.
