Dr. Mehdi Aloosh, Medical Officer of Health for the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit, has rescinded the Precautionary Boil Water Advisory issued on July 8, 2025, for waterline consumers serviced by the Union Water Supply System in the Municipality of Leamington. The advisory is no longer in effect for the following locations:
- Fuller Avenue (addresses 2 through 13).
- Grace Avenue (addresses 6 through 35).
- Kimball Avenue (addresses 1 through 12).

The Municipality of Leamington is informing residents that while the Essex-Windsor Solid Waste Authority’s (EWSWA) new Green Bin Program is currently being rolled out in Phase 1 communities (Essex, Lakeshore, LaSalle, Tecumseh, and Windsor), Leamington will be included in Phase 2 of the regional project. Dr. Mehdi Aloosh, Medical Officer of Health, Windsor-Essex County Health Unit, has issued a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory for some customers serviced by the Union Water Supply System. This Boil Water Advisory affects the following locations within the Municipality of Leamington:
- Fuller Avenue (addresses 2 through 13)
- Grace Avenue (addresses 6 through 35)
- Kimball Avenue (addresses 1 through 12)
- Nancy Avenue (addresses 14 through 30, but excludes 17 as this property is serviced from Pearl Avenue).
