Reinvent This Space Finalists Announced

Four entrepreneurs who want to set up shop in uptown Leamington are finalists in the Reinvent This Space competition.

Run by the Municipality of Leamington in partnership with the Small Business and Entrepreneurship Centre (SBEC), a division of Invest WindsorEssex, the Reinvent This Space contest will see the winner get a year's worth of rent up to $15,000 to locate a new business in uptown Leamington. Take Notice that the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Leamington has passed By-law Number 07-22 on February 8, 2022 under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990.

At the Leamington Council meeting held Tuesday, February 8, 2022, Council:

  • Held a Public Meeting under the Planning Act with respect to Consent Application B-04-22 to sever 0.189 hectares (0.468 acres) from 465 Mersea Road 12 to the abutting parcel at 1117 Mersea Road 4, subject to conditions listed in the report. Council also approved Zoning By-law Amendment Application 246 to change the zoning of the severed parcel from Agricultural Hobby Farm (A3) Zone to Agricultural Residential (A5) Zone.
