Leamington Moving Forward with Attainable and Affordable Housing Project

The Municipality of Leamington is moving forward with an attainable and affordable housing project on the former Leamington District Secondary School property located at 125 Talbot Street West in Leamington.

In July 2020, Leamington Council approved the purchase of the former high school property to encourage the development of attainable and affordable housing to address the current housing shortage in Leamington.

Following the Ontario government’s announcement to gradually ease COVID-19 restrictions, the Municipality of Leamington will reopen the Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre on Monday, January 31, 2022. The facility will reopen for recreational programming with capacity restrictions and enhanced proof of vaccination in effect.
