At the Council meeting held on January 26, 2021 at 6:00 PM, Leamington Council:

  • Deferred Zoning By-law Amendment #218 and Consent B-21-20 (Access Easement) SS Talbot Road East, 1821 Deer Run Road, 382 Mersea Road to the March 23, 2021 Council Meeting.
  • Approved an application for a sign variance to the Sign By-law received from Walmart Canada Corp., 304 Erie St. South. The plans provided are to designate 8 parking spaces as online pickup spaces. The signage will consist of 8 signs on 8 bollards.

Municipality of Leamington to Issue Water and Waste Water Bills for Residents in Spring 2021

Leamington residents can expect to see a change in their water/waste waterbilling starting in April 2021. The change is automatic – no action is required unless residents would like to sign up for pre-authorized payments with the Muncipality.

Leamington Secures Surplus School Lands

The Municipality of Leamington is pleased to announce it has purchased two parcels of property to encourage the development of attainable and affordable housing in Leamington and to support other identified strategic long-term goals.

The properties are located at 125 Talbot Street West (former Leamington District Secondary School) and 134 Mill Street East (former Mill Street Public School). The use or disposal of the buildings located on each site has yet to be determined.

  • Received the 2019 Annual Report for the Leamington Accessibility Advisory Committee.
  • Received the 2018-2022 Accessibility Plan for the Leamington Accessibility Advisory Committee.
