Council Matters - November 12, 2019

At the Council meeting held on November 12, 2019, Council:

• Held a Public Meeting regarding ZBA #200 and Consent Application B-30-19 - Lot Addition – 457 Mersea Road 21. Council approved the application to add a triangular shaped parcel of land from 457 Mersea Road 21 to the abutting vacant hobby farm to the north and to rezone the property to an Agricultural Hobby Farm.

• Held a Public Meeting under the Drainage Act and approved the amended Engineer’s Report regarding the Debergh Drain Realignment.

Enbridge Gas Inc. helps the Municipality of Leamington Reduce Fire and Carbon Monoxide Deaths through Project Zero

Today, Enbridge Gas Inc. and the Municipality of Leamington announced they are working together to improve home safety and bring fire and carbon monoxide-related deaths down to zero.

The Municipality of Leamington received 156 combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarms through Project Zero, – a public education campaign that will provide more than 9,100 alarms to residents in 40 municipalities across Ontario.
