Leamington Increases Patrols in an Effort to Protect the Health and Safety of Residents and Limit the Spread of COVID-19

With warmer weather on the way, the Municipality of Leamington has retained the services of the Commissionaires to assist Municipal By-law Enforcement Officers in patrolling busy areas including Seacliff Park, Seacliff Beach and the waterfront promenade. The goal is to educate the public and ensure compliance with provincial orders related to limiting gatherings of 5 or more people and the closure of outdoor recreational amenities, in an effort to contain the spread of COVID-19.

Leamington Marina and Boat Ramp to Open May 19

Yesterday, the Ontario Government announced that additional seasonal businesses, services and activities will be permitted to open. This includes marinas and boat launches.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Municipality of Leamington remains open for business but in a manner that will allow the public we serve and our employees to be both safe and productive.
