At the Leamington Council meeting ofTuesday, November 25, 2025, Council:

Approved an additional amount of $107,842 (excluding HST) to Nevan Construction Inc. for the completion of the Mersea Road D BankStabilization Project.

Approvedan additional amount of $71,015.62 (excluding HST) to RapidDrainage Ltd.for the completion ofadditional works requiredto complete the Watermain Replacement and Asphalt Resurfacing project on Maxon Avenue, Sherman Street, James Street and a portion ofWigle Street.

Roadwork Notice – Sherk Street Line Painting

Line painting will take place today, November 27, and tomorrow, November 28, on Sherk Street between Ellison Avenue and Seacliff Drive. Intermittent lane closures will be in effect throughout the work period. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
Please plan an alternate route where possible, expect delays, and use caution when driving through the area to help keep workers safe.

Leamington Santa Claus Parade – Road Closures and Transit Impacts

*Please note that this release has been updated to include that Erie Street will be closed from Countess Street to Wilkinson Drive during the parade.
The annual Leamington Santa Claus Parade will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. To ensure a safe and enjoyable event, several temporary road closures will be in effect.
Road Closures
- Erie Street from Countess Street to Wilkinson Drive will be closed during the parade.
- Georgia Avenue will be closed from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

The Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Leamington will be presented with the Mayor’s 2026 Budget on:
- Wednesday, December 10, 2025,
- Thursday, December 11, 2025, and if needed,
- Friday, December 12, 2025.
