Leamington lays 88 charges upon 12 greenhouse owners for operating in contravention of By-law

As a result of an ongoing investigation of Leamington Greenhouse Owners who have been operating in contravention of the Municipality of Leamington’sGreenhouse Light Abatement By-law, the Municipality has laid 88 charges under Part III of the Provincial Offences Act upon 12 individual Leamington greenhouse owners.
At its meeting held June 14, 2022, Leamington Council passed the current Greenhouse Light Abatement By-law, being By-law 41-22.

With great sadness, we acknowledge the line-of-duty death of Lieutenant Adam Kroeker on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, after a prolonged illness.
Adam was a 13-year veteran of the Leamington Fire Service, beginning his role in 2010 as a firefighter and later being promoted to Lieutenant in 2018.
