GO-VAXX Bus Mobile Vaccine Clinic to Visit Leamington

The Province of Ontario's GO VAXX bus mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinic will be in Leamington on May 2 and May 3. These mobile clinics provide opportunities for residents to get their COVID-19 vaccination quickly and conveniently.

Mobile clinics are scheduled for the following dates and locations:

Leamington lifts State of Emergency

The Municipality of Leamington has joined the Province of Ontario, the County of Essex and local municipalities in lifting its state of emergency which was declared on March 22, 2020, in response to the global pandemic.

The local state of emergency was declared not only for COVID-19 but for other possible issues such as lake flooding, as water levels reached record highs in 2020. It allowed the Municipality to manage and coordinate the pandemic response and mobilize appropriate resources.

Kinsmen Baseball Diamonds Parking Lot Paving Project

At the March 22, 2022, Council meeting, Leamington Council approved capital improvements to the Kinsmen Baseball Diamond facility including the paving of the Kinsmen Baseball Diamond parking lot.

Project features include:

  • a new asphalt surface parking lot and laneway;
  • curbing and parking islands;
  • delineated parking stalls,
  • traffic calming speed humps;
  • handicap accessible parking.
