Temporary Road Closure - Russell Street – April 30, 2024

Due to emergency sewer repairs, Russel Street between Fox Street and Chestnut Street will be restricted to local traffic and emergency vehicles only on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Motorists are urged to follow the posted detour route or seek an alternate route during this period.

Attention Businesses and Non-Profits: Important Changes to Recycling Program

Due to provincially mandated recycling changes (Ontario Regulation 391/21), the EWSWA will no longer administer the residential recycling program. Circular Materials will take over residential recycling collection on August 28, 2024, and is not obligated to collect recycling from a "Non-Eligible Source."

Note: Apartments, elementary and high schools, and condos are excluded. They do not have to complete a Registration Form.
