Council will consider the following reports and matters at its upcoming Council meeting to be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2020:

  • An amendment to the Municipality’s Fees and Charges By-law to allow a boater to moor for the day (up to a maximum of three hours) at no cost. The day rate of $21 will be applied to those staying longer than three hours but not overnight. The recommended charges are outlined below:

Leamington Council approved the Municipality’s Council Priorities Review and Recommended Key Actions - Strategic Vision document at its January 28 meeting.

This key document will guide Council’s decision making over the next three years. The Corporation’s strategies form the framework for municipal policies and direction, work plans and the allocation of resources, both human and financial.

At the Council meeting held on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, Council:

 

  • Held a Court of Revision under the Drainage Act regarding the Lebo Creek- South Branch-Hydro One Culvert Replacement Drain. The Schedule of Assessment to provide for the new culvert for Hydro One on the South Branch of the Lebo Creek Drain was confirmed.

Notice of Passing By-law 01-20 for 419 and 429 Mersea Road 8

On Tuesday, January 14, 2020, Council approved Zoning By-law Amendment No. 205 to change the zoning of the residential lots at 419 and 429 Mersea Road 8 from Agricultural Residential (A5) to Agricultural General (A1).  The lots are to be consolidated with the abutting farm and developed as part of a new greenhouse operation.
