Special Meeting of Council 2025 Budget Deliberations

The Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Leamington will consider the proposed 2025 Budget on:
Wednesday, December 11, 2024,
Thursday, December 12, 2024, and if needed,
Friday, December 13, 2024.
Each meeting will commence at 9:00 AM each day in the Council Chambers at the Leamington Municipal Building, 111 Erie Street North, Leamington.

At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, November 12, 2024, Council:
- Approved an application to re-designate 810 Mersea Road 4 to Agricultural Zone, rezone 806 Mersea Road 4 to Commercial Shopping Centre Zone, permitting the use of the existing dwelling as an Off-site Farm Worker Dwelling for a maximum of three years, and rezone 810 Mersea Road 4 to Agricultural Resident Zone which permits an Off-site Farm Worker Dwelling to recognize the existing frontage.

Resilience Plan being Developed for the Pelee Coast

Property owners and residents along Lake Erie’s coast from Amherstburg to Port Alma are invited to help develop climate adaption solutions aimed at enhancing coastal resilience.
The Pelee Coastal Resilience Committee is holding workshops about the project on two dates at venues in Wheatley and Kingsville:
