2021 Dog Tags Available

Leamington dog owners can now purchase dog tags online.

Dog owners in Leamington are required to register their dog(s) by purchasing a dog tag each year. Not only is it a municipal by-law, this simple process will help reunite you with your pet if it is lost. 

Fees

Dog tags are $20 up to and including March 31, 2021. On or after April 1, 2021, dog tag fees double to $40.

Leamington Council appointed Trevor Jones to the office of Municipal Councillor at its meeting held December 8, 2020.

The Municipality of Leamington declared a seat on Council vacant following the sudden passing of the late Councillor John Jacobs.

Leamington Council appointed Mr. Jones as the candidate with the highest vote total not elected in the last municipal election.

At the Council meeting on December 8, 2020 at 6:00 PM, Leamington Council:

Leamington Council Passes 0% Budget for 2021

As a result of budget deliberations held December 2 and December 3, 2020, Leamington Council approved the proposed 2021 budget with a 0% increase to the municipal levies.  

As the community continues to feel the effects of ongoing economic challenges, further exacerbated by COVID-19, Leamington Council has decided to hold municipal taxation at 0% for 2021.

Leamington Council will hold an electronic Council meeting on December 8, 2020 at 6:00 PM to consider the following agenda items:
