Dog registration enforcement begins in Leamington on July 13

Beginning July 13, 2022, representatives of the Municipality of Leamington will attend door-to-door to ensure compliance with the Municipality’s Animal Control By-law 668-06. Each municipal representative will be identified with a Municipality of Leamington identification name tag.

Municipality Celebrates 150th Anniversary of Leamington Fire Services

The Municipality of Leamington is celebrating the 150th anniversary of Leamington Fire Services this year, and to mark the occasion will be holding community events throughout the summer.
The Fire Services team will be at different community locations every Thursday until September, teaching fire safety and allowing interested visitors the opportunity to explore a fire truck and meet the firefighters.

At its meeting held June 28, 2022, Leamington Council appointed Heather Latam to the office of Municipal Councillor.
The Council seat was declared vacant following a formal notice of resignation submitted by former Councillor Trevor Jones as he was elected as a Member of Provincial Parliament in the recent provincial election.
