COVID-19 and Building Services
Leamington Building Services is accepting building permit applications at this time, by email at bldgdept@leamington.ca and through the drop box located at the entrance to the Municipal Building off of Queens Avenue. All applications will be dated and processed in queue. The mandated timelines for permit review and inspections have been lifted by our government and are not applicable as per the Ontario Building Code (OBC) Part 1, Div. C, 1.3.1.3.(8) and 1.3.5.3.(5).
Please note that building permit review and inspections will take longer and will require extra time due to COVID-19 pre-screening measures and special procedures in place. To schedule an inspection, please contact Building Services at 519-326-5761 Ext. 1440. You will be asked COVID-19 screening questions developed by Ontario Public Health.
