Council Considers – August 23, 2022

Leamington Council will hold a hybrid Council meeting on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 6:00 PM. Council will:

• Hold a Court of Revision under the Drainage Act to consider the Reid Drain – 11th Concession Branch New Access Culvert and By-law 53-22, being a by-law to provide for an Installation of a New Access over the Reid Drain – 11^th Concession Road Branch in the Municipality of Leamington in the County of Essex.

• Consider the Engineer’s report for the Changes in Assessment to the Reid Drain- East Part of the West Part, prepared by N.J. Peralta Engineering dated July 6, 2022, for parcels 920-00700, 920-00705 & 920-00900 be adopted by Council pursuant to the provisions of the Drainage Act, Section 65 (3 & 4).

• Consider the Engineer’s report for the changes in assessment to the Lundy Drain, prepared by N.J. Peralta Engineering Limited and dated July 25, 2022, for parcel 830-01400 be adopted by Council pursuant to the provisions of the Drainage Act, Section 65 (3 & 4).

• Receive a report with regard to the Community Improvement Plan (CIP) Grants and authorize administration to enter into standard CIP Agreements for a number of properties located in the Municipality.

• Enter into a third party billing agreement with the City of Windsor for Child Care Subsidy program with the Children Services department from 2021 to 2022.

• Enter into a licence extension and amendment agreement with Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Ontario for the Courtroom located at 7 Clark Street West.
