Council Considers – January 14, 2025
At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, January 14, 2025, Council will:
- Consider a report regarding Microsoft licensing for SharePoint Implementation. Council will determine whether to approve Microsoft licensing fees that may be funded through the General and Administration Reserve, to support the functionality of SharePoint for improved collaboration, security, and compliance.
- Consider directing Administration to bring forward By-law 68-24, a by-law to Regulate the operation of municipal cemeteries. Council will also consider approving the cemeteries price list to be included in the Municipality’s 2025 Fees and Charges By-law.
- Consider approving the appointment of Drainage Commissioners for the Municipality of Leamington.
- Consider directing Administration to bring forward By-law 01-25, a by-law to Delegate Powers and Duties.
- Consider entering into a service agreement for the installation of Authorized User Transmitters with Caldwell First Nation which can allow for the collection of data from the individual water meters within the development by the Municipality of Leamington.
- Consider a report regarding 2025 Interim Tax Bill. Council will consider directing Administration to bring forward By-law 02-25, a by-law to provide for the 2025 interim tax levy and to provide for the payment of taxes in the Municipality of Leamington.
