Council Considers – June 11, 2024
At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, June 11, 2024, Council will:
- Hold a Public Meeting under the Planning Act to consider:
- An application to create a surplus dwelling lot, rezone the severed lot to recognize the residential use of the lot, and consider rezoning the retained farm parcel to prohibit residential uses and buildings at 509 Mersea Road 10.
- An application to sever land at 431 Mersea Road 10 and add it to the existing farm parcel at 433 Mersea Road 10, and an application to rezone severed lands to recognize the agricultural use and residential use of newly severed lands.
- Consider the 2024 Municipality of Leamington Draft Asset Management Plan.
- Consider a report recommending rescinding Appeal Committee member appointments.
- Consider appointing Mayor Hilda MacDonald as proxyholder, and Frank Ricci as an alternate proxyholder, for the Municipality of Leamington to cast its shareholder’s votes at Essex Power Corporation’s 2023 shareholder’s annual meeting.
