Council Considers – March 28, 2023

At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, March 28, 2023, Council will:

  • Hold a Court of Revision under the Drainage Act to consider the following matter:
    • New bridges and an updated assessment schedule over the B & C Concession Road Drain West.
  • Hold a Public Meeting under the Planning Act to consider the following matter:
    • Temporary Use Zoning By-law Amendment No. 270, to permit a second dwelling on the subject property located at 1911 Mersea Road 11 for a period not to exceed one year.
  • Consider a presentation from ProsperUs.          
  • Consider contributing funds to the South Essex Arts Association for the delivery of four Mill Street Markets in 2023.
  • Consider a by-law to permit the construction of sidewalk patios in the uptown area in accordance with the Sidewalk Patio Guidelines.
  • Consider amending the Traffic By-law to reduce the speed on Mersea Road 7 from King’s Highway 77 to Mersea Road 12 from 80km/h to 60km/h.
  • Consider allocating grant funding for the 2023 Community Improvement Plan (CIP) Applications.
  • Consider a report regarding the Request for Proposal (RFP) results for the Watermain Replacement Design and Contract Administration Services for portions of Wigle Street, Orange Street, Setterington Street, Mill Street East, Gerrard Street, Fair Street, and Marlborough Street East.
  • Consider a report regarding the 2022 Union Water Supply System Annual Report, the 2022 Union Water Supply System Summary Report, the 2022 Leamington (Union) Distribution System Annual Report, the 2022 Wheatley Drinking Water System Annual Report, and the 2022 Leamington (Wheatley) Distribution System Annual Report.
  • Consider a report regarding the Drinking Water Quality Management System Operational Plan for the Leamington Water Distribution System.
  • Consider a report regarding the City of Windsor’s 2023 Pathway to Potential (P2P) funding program.
  • Consider a report regarding the Request for Proposal (RFP) results for the Marina Waterline Replacement project.
  • Consider a report regarding Talbot Street Streetscaping Functional Design.
  • Consider a report regarding the Request for Proposal (RFP) results for the North East Trunk Sewer and Seacliff Drive Reconstruction project.
  • Consider a report regarding the LTGO Bus Bench Advertising Proposal Agreement.
  • Consider a report regarding the Treasurer’s Statement for 2022 Council and Appointee remuneration and expenses.
