At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, November 29, 2022, Council will:

  • Hold a Public Meeting under the Planning Act to consider the following matters:
    • Zoning By-Law Amendment Application No. 262 regarding the rezoning of the consolidated farm property at 117-127 County Road 18 from Agricultural Residential (A5) Zone and Agricultural Hobby Farm (A3) Zone to Agricultural Hobby Farm (A3-28) Zone.
    • Zoning By-law Amendment Application ZBA No. 263 regarding the removal of the Holding (H) Symbol from lands known as Phase 3 of the Destiny Estates Plan of Subdivision.
  • Consider a report regarding a Municipal Support Resolution for the Development, Construction and Operation of Battery Energy Storage Systems.
  • Consider a report regarding the renewal of the Radio and GPS Tracking Contract.  
  • Consider a report regarding the contract to complete the Fire Services Master Plan.  
  • Consider appointing Rood Engineering to legalize the Cotterie Park Berm in its new location on Essex Region Conservation Authority (ERCA) lands.
  • Consider a Traffic By-law Amendment for Southwind Estates Subdivision Phase 2.
  • Consider a report regarding the purchase of a tandem dump truck and necessary attachments.
  • Consider a report regarding 2023 to 2025 Fuel Supply Contract.
  • Consider a report regarding the 2022 Annual Report for the Leamington Municipal Heritage Advisory Committee.
  • Consider a report regarding council member appointments to boards and committees.
  • Consider a report regarding the composition of the Appeal Committee and Property Standards Committee.
  • Consider a report regarding the 2023 Calendar of Council Meetings.
  • Consider a report regarding the demolition of cottages and the completion of all necessary preliminary works and remediation at 50 Gold Coast Road and clearing trees and brush at 34 and 50 Gold Coast Road.
