Council Considers – September 12, 2023

At the Leamington Council meeting on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, Council will:

• Hold a Court of Revision under the Drainage Act to consider the following matters:
  • Construction of a new access culvert required as a result of development over the Lebo Creek Drain Legalization of the relocation of the Cotterie Park berm and gate

• Hold a Public Meeting under the Drainage Act to consider the following matters:
  • Construction of a new access bridge over the East Ogle Drain at the 11^th Concession Branch.

• Hold a Public Meeting under the Planning Act to consider the following matters:
  • An application to rezone the lands located at 1418 Mersea Road D to allow a welding shop as a farm occupation
  • Multiple applications which include: the request to sever land from 223-265 Talbot Street West to 255 Talbot Street West; to rezone the severed lands from an Agricultural Restricted Zone to a Commercial Highway Zone; to establish an easement for existing telecommunication lines and sanitary sewer lines under the lands being severed; and to establish an access easement.

• Consider a report regarding an organizational review of the administration structure of the Municipality.

• Consider a report regarding a maintenance schedule of assessment for the Irwin Drain and Branch located in the Municipality of Leamington.

• Consider a report regarding the County of Essex Regional Waste Management By-law.

• Consider a report regarding a tender award for the construction of the Seacliff Park basketball courts.

• Consider Council appointments for the Board of Directors of Union Water Supply System Inc.
