Council Matters - March 26, 2019

At the Council meeting held on March 26, 2019, Council:
- Received a presentation by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) regarding the County Campaign - 911 Program;
- Approved a grant of in-kind services to the Leamington Triathlon Weekend and Southern Footprints for fencing at the events;
- Awarded a maintenance tender project for Sloan Drain & Branches;
- Authorized the purchase and entered into a lease for multi-function copiers;
- Awarded a tender for Coronation Sewer Separation program;
- Authorized the partial release of site plan securities for several properties;
- Received 2018 annual report for the Leamington Municipal Heritage Advisory Committee;
- Approved the exemption of lots in Southwinds Estate Subdivision from part lot control;
- Authorized a 3-year contract for turf maintenance;
- Authorized the purchase of 4 pick-up trucks;
- Granted permanent and temporary easements to Hydro One Networks Inc. on three properties; located on Concession 5 and 6 for the purpose of either right of way or for the purpose of constructing a temporary access road to allow for construction;
- Appointed Directors to the BIA for the 2018-2022 term of Council.
