Council Matters – May 28, 2024

At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, May 28, 2024, Council:

• Adopted an Engineer’s Report regarding Fox Drain and Branch, Legalizing Enclosures, and approved the scheduling of a Court of Revision.

• Adopted an Engineer’s Report regarding a new access bridge over the Lebo Creek Drain, 7^th Concession Branch, authorized the works to be tendered, and approved the scheduling of a Court of Revision.

• Approved the Municipality of Leamington Water Financial Plan which outlines the rate structure for water and wastewater and the implications of those rates.

• Accepted municipal services to be installed in the Bevel Line Village Subdivision Phase 1, beginning the required one-year maintenance period effective February 23, 2024, and authorized amendments to Traffic By-law 4284-95 to make changes to No Stopping Areas, No Parking Areas, Through Highways, Pedestrian Crossovers and Stop Signs.

• Authorized property owners assessed for municipal drainage capital work exceeding $1,500 to borrow funds for municipal capital drainage performed on B & C Concession Road Drain West.
