At the Council meeting on November 9, 2021, Council:

  • Held a Public Meeting under the Planning Act and approved a Zoning By-law Amendment at 124 Oak Street to permit an automobile impound yard.
  • Held a Public Meeting under the Planning Act and approved a Zoning By-law Amendment to amend the site-specific zoning from Commercial Shopping Centre Zone (C3-3) to (C3-8) for property located at 297 Erie Street South.
  • Approved amending a Notice of Decision from the Committee of Adjustment to add acres of land fronting the north side of Mersea Road 11.
  • Received the 2021 Annual Report regarding activities and expenses of the Committee of Adjustment.
  • Awarded the Leamington Pollution Control Centre Turbo Blower Upgrade Tender to Vollmer Inc. in the amount of $1,140,597 plus applicable taxes.
  • Authorized the partial abandonment of Jones Sideroad Drain for installation of a new access.
  • Approved a new Corporate Visual Identity Guide and adopted a Visual Identity Standards Policy.
  • Approved a Lease Extension and Amending Agreement for the police facilities located at 7 Clark Street West, Leamington occupied by the Ontario Provincial Police.
  • Approved a report and by-law to establish a daylight corner at Cherry Lane to Regatta Drive, being part of the Seacliff Drive reconstruction project.
