Council Matters - October 26, 2021

At the Council meeting on October 26, 2021, Council:

  • Authorized the 5 year extension for Municipal Banking Services with Windsor Family Credit Union through to September 30, 2026.
  • Confirmed property tax adjustments as outlined in Schedule I and II of the report, in accordance with the Municipal Act.
  • Approved the purchase of replacement ultraviolet disinfection equipment at the Leamington Pollution Control Centre.
  • Received the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) Drinking Water System Inspection Report for the Leamington (Union) Distribution System, dated July 22, 2021 and The Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) Drinking Water System Inspection Report for the Leamington (Wheatley) Distribution System, dated June 29, 2021. Copies which will be made available on the municipal website.
  • Approved the removal of 330 Seacliff Drive West as a property on the Municipal Register of Heritage Properties for the purpose of demolition.
  • Approved the hiring of an additional Building Services Technician to be funded through the Building Services Reserve Fund.
