Council Matters – September 27, 2022

At the Leamington Council meeting on September 27, 2022 Council:

• Held a Public Meeting under the Municipal Act and approved property tax adjustments.

• Received the IT Service Delivery Review Final Report.

• Received the Development Approval Review Process Current State Report.

• Received the Leamington Storm Water Master Drainage Study for the Lebo Creek Watersheds.

• Received the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee 2022 Annual Report.

• Approved the Erie Street design alternative as the preferred functional design for reconstruction.

• Awarded a three year contract for parking lot winter maintenance with Landscape Effects Group.

• Approved the replacement of an additional 150 metres of the wood privacy fence along the trail near the Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre.

• Adopted the Electronic Monitoring of Employees Policy.

• Amended the Election Compliance Audit Committee Terms of Reference and approved the remuneration rate for committee members.

• Amended By-law 289-13, as amended to provide procedural rules of conduct of the meeting of the municipal council and its committees.

• Amended Fees By-law 68-21, as amended.
