Holiday Hours – Leamington Municipal Services 2022

Happy Holidays from all of us at the Municipality of Leamington. 

Please note the following municipal program and service level adjustments for the 2022 holiday season:

Leamington Municipal Building

• Monday, December 26, 2022 – Closed
• Tuesday, December 27, 2022 – Closed
• Wednesday, December 28, 2022 – Closed
• Thursday, December 29, 2022 – Closed
• Friday, December 30, 2022 – Closed

Residents can continue to report non-urgent municipal issues online at leamington.ca/reportanissue

Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre

The Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre will be closed from Saturday, December 24, 2022, to Sunday, January 1, 2023, to perform routine maintenance. The Recreation Centre will reopen for regular programming on Monday, January 2, 2023.

Garbage and Recycling Collection

As a result of the holiday, please note the following changes to recycling collection:

• Rural area recycling collection moves from Monday, December 26, 2022 to Tuesday, December 27, 2022.
• Urban area recycling collection moves from Tuesday, December 27, 2022 to Wednesday, December 28, 2022.

Please refer to the collection calendar for details at leamington.ca/garbage.

Christmas tree collection will take place on January 3 and January 4, 2023. Please remove all decorations, tree skirts and plastic tree bags before placing your tree curbside.

Transit

LT-Go Transit will operate as follows:

• Saturday, December 24, 2022 – 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Sunday, December 25, 2022 – No service
• Monday, December 26, 2022 – No service
• Saturday, December 31, 2022 – 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Sunday, January 1, 2023 – No service

LTW Transit service will operate as follows:

• Saturday, December 24, 2022 – No service
• Sunday, December 25, 2022 – No service
• Monday, December 26, 2022 – No service
• Saturday, December 31, 2022 – No service
• Sunday, January 1, 2023 – No service
