Leamington Fire Services Statement on the Line of Duty Death of Lieutenant Adam Kroeker

With great sadness, we acknowledge the line-of-duty death of Lieutenant Adam Kroeker on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, after a prolonged illness.

Adam was a 13-year veteran of the Leamington Fire Service, beginning his role in 2010 as a firefighter and later being promoted to Lieutenant in 2018.

"On behalf of Leamington Fire Services, I extend my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Lieutenant Adam Kroeker,” said Fire Chief Andrew Baird. “Lieutenant Kroeker served his community with bravery and dedication and will be deeply missed by his Leamington Fire Services family."

Adam will be remembered for his positive outlook, intelligence, and willingness to help others.

The Leamington Fire Service will honour and celebrate Adam’s life with a full Fire Service Line of Duty Death funeral.

Visitation will be held at Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street, Leamington on Friday, February 24, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.  The funeral service to celebrate Adam's life will be held at the Leamington United Mennonite Church, 78 Oak Street East, Leamington on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 10:00 AM. Interment at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
