Leamington Mayor MacDonald Re-elected to AMO Board of Directors

Leamington’s Mayor Hilda MacDonald has been re-elected to the Board of Directors of the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) and will continue to serve as a key municipal leader in the province.
Mayor MacDonald was honoured with the election results during the AMO Conference being held in Ottawa this week.
This will be Mayor MacDonald’s third term after being appointed to the Board of Directors – Small Urban Caucus in April of 2019 and elected to the Board in 2020. Mayor MacDonald will continue to have the opportunity to bring Leamington’s unique voice and interests to the table, as well as contribute to AMO's commitment to advance the mutual interests of Ontario municipalities.
The Board of Directors is AMO’s governing body, and sets AMO’s direction and adopts its policies and priorities. The Board of Directors term is two years.
“I am truly honoured to represent Leamington on the provincial stage,” said Mayor Hilda MacDonald. “I will continue to be a strong voice on issues that matter to municipalities across Ontario, and will ensure Leamington has a strong and productive partnership with our federal and provincial partners.”
