Proof of Vaccination required to Access Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre

Default Interior

Beginning Wednesday, September 22, 2021, the Ontario government requires Ontarians to be fully vaccinated (including the 14-day waiting period) and provide their vaccination receipts or medical exemption alongside government-issued identification to enter some settings, including recreational facilities. Children who are 11 years of age and younger and unable to be vaccinated will be exempted from these requirements.

In accordance with the Ontario Government’s regulations, effective September 22, negative rapid antigen tests will no longer be accepted as an option for patrons to enter the Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre (NFFRC). All patrons to the NFFRC, 12 years of age and older, will need to be fully vaccinated and show proof.

Patrons who are under 18 years old are exempt from providing proof of vaccination only if they are actively participating in an organized sport.

The Ontario government is working to develop a digital vaccine certificate and exemption system. Until then, all patrons must bring a physical or digital copy of their vaccination receipt or medical exemption and be screened each time they enter the facility. Patrons should arrive early to make sure they get screened in time for programs and classes.

Individuals can provide proof of vaccination by downloading or printing their vaccine receipt from the provincial booking portal at covid19.ontariohealth.ca, or by calling the Provincial Vaccine Booking Line at 1-833-943-3900.
