Rural Yard Waste During EWSWA Closures
The Essex Windsor Solid Waste Authority (EWSWA) has closed the Public Drop-Off Depot and Transfer Station #2 in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Leamington residents who live in the rural area of the Municipality and do not receive municipal yard waste collection, are asked to store their yard waste and other types of EWSWA accepted materials on their property until EWSWA facilities reopen.
Residents who live in the urban area of Leamington will continue to receive curbside yard waste collection on their regularly scheduled days.
Please note that EWSWA closures do not apply to commercial or municipal haulers (i.e. garbage/recycling trucks and EWSWA contractors).
