Temporary Road Closures and Parking Restrictions for Special Events

A series of special events are planned for the community to celebrate Leamington's 150th anniversary. On Saturday, June 29, and Sunday, June 30, 2024, events will occur in the uptown area.

The Municipality of Leamington will implement temporary road closures and parking restrictions to ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment.

Temporary Road Closures and Parking Restrictions:

• Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 5:00 AM
  • Parking will be unavailable in the following areas:
    • Talbot Street West, from Fox Street to Erie Street
    • Queens Avenue, from Talbot Street to John Street
    • John Street, from Erie Street to Queens Avenue
    • The John Street Municipal Parking lot

• Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 12:00 PM
  • The following roads will be closed to traffic:
    • Talbot Street West, from Fox Street to Erie Street
    • Queens Avenue, from Talbot Street to John Street
    • John Street, from Erie Street to Queens Avenue

Reopening Schedule:

• Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 11:00 PM:
  • Talbot Street will reopen to both traffic and parking.

• Sunday, June 30, 2024, at 9:00 PM:
  • Queens Avenue and John Street, including the John Street parking lot, will reopen.
