About Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre Day Camp

We are committed to quality!

The Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre to providing quality sport and recreation programs that promote healthy growth and development. To ensure our programs are of the highest quality, we incorporate the HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development.

Our day camp counsellors are at least 16 years of age, certified in Red Cross Standard First Aid/CPR-C, and HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development.

Day Camp operates with at least 1 counsellor for every 10 campers. 

Age Groups

Our camp is divided into junior (JR) and senior (SR) Campers to ensure programming is age appropriate and encourages active participation from all.  

JR Campers Ages 4-7 years

SR Campers Ages 8-12 years

Registration Information

Registration for Day Camp is on hold.

In order to help us provide the appropriate number of staff for supervision, early registration is important.

Registration tips:

  • Register in advance to ensure availability. Spaces do fill up.
  • Parents and Guardians must complete all registration forms prior to coming to camp.
  • Verify all contact information and ensure emergency contacts are up to date.
  • Registration can not be taken without payment.

Daily $36
Weekly 1st Child $155
Weekly 2nd+ Children $139.50

Early Drop off (7:00-8:00 AM)

$8 per family

Late Pick Up (5:00-6:00 PM)

$8 per family
Day of Camp Registration + $10 per child


Prepare your camper!

Campers can expect to have a very active day! 

What to bring:

  • Lots of healthy snacks! Our campers get hungry and need to refuel during morning snack, lunch break, and afternoon snack times
  • Large refillable water bottle
  • Comfortable clothing and indoor shoes for active play
  • Weather appropriate clothing for outdoor programming
  • Bathing suit and towel with a separate bag for wet gear

Optional: Skating-skates, helmet, gloves and warm clothing (all mandatory for skating)

Please label all items to ensure they make it home at the end of the day!


What to leave at home:

  • Toys
  • iPods, tablets, and cell phones
  • Peanut products and 'may contain' peanut products
  • Money and valuable items

Day Camp Policies

Drop off and Pick Up

A parent/guardian must escort campers in and out of the NFFRC during drop off and pick up. Day campers must be signed in and signed out by our Day Camp Staff at our table located in the lobby. Please coordinate and notify staff if someone else is picking up your camper. To keep everyone safe, you may be asked to show picture ID during pick-up. There will be an $8 late fee applied if your camper is not picked up by 5:00 PM.


Please call the Centre if your camper is unable to attend camp. Please do not send your child to camp if they are showing signs of illness. If your child is sent home ill, no refund will be provided.


For Daily Registration:

$15 administrative fee. Cancellations allowed up to 5:00PM the business day before, to allow for programming modifications by staff for next day activities and coverage. If cancelling for Monday, must be done by Friday evening.

  • No refunds on the day of (regardless of illness)


Weekly Registration:

  • By Friday at 5:00 PM the week before apply a $15 admin fee for cancellation.
  • Refunds shall be considered for days missed during the week, provided notice is given in accordance with the daily cancellation policy.  Prorated, daily charges and administrative fees would be applied in the calculation

Transferred Days will not be permitted on daily or weekly registrations.


Day Camp Behaviour Policy

The Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre reserves the right to ask parents/guardians to withdraw their children from the program if basic behaviour expectations are not met.  It is our goal to provide a healthy, safe, and secure environment for all Campers.


Behaviour Guidelines

  • Campers are responsible for their actions
  • We respect each other and the environment
  • Honesty is the basis of all relationships and interactions
  • We care for ourselves and those around us
  • Bullying, swearing or vulgar language, and aggressive actions will not be tolerated 
  • If your child is sent home because they are not meeting our Behaviour Guidelines, no refund will be given. 

Photography Policy for Advertising and Media Purposes

By participating in public events held in conjunction with the Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre/Department of Culture and Recreation Services, all participants grant the Municipality of Leamington the right to print, publish, broadcast, and use photographs in any manner deemed appropriate. This usage includes, but is not limited to, the internet and all other advertising materials. Participant's photo/name could be used for public information without additional consideration or compensation.

If you do not want your camper's photo taken or published, please inform our LKRC Day Camp Staff.
