The Municipality of Leamington collects revenue from property taxation in order to provide many important municipal services and programs you use every day. The payment of property tax supports the Municipality, the County of Essex and the local School Boards.

Property Tax Lookup

The Property Tax Lookup Online is a convenient way to review your Leamington property tax accounts in a secure online environment anytime, anywhere, from a computer or mobile device.  Details provided include account balance, current and previous billing amounts, due dates and more.

To view your property tax account online, you will need your Roll Number and the Access Code/PIN shown on your current property tax bill.

Late Payments

There is a 1.25% penalty for overdue taxes.  The Municipality charges this penalty on the first day of default and we add an additional 1.25% interest on the first day of each month until you pay the total amount.

Returned Items or Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF)

An NSF charge of $ 25.00 will be required to be paid before any amounts are applied to the outstanding receivable.  A payment in the form of cash, certified cheque or money order will be required if a cheque is returned NSF from a banking institution.
