The Municipality of Leamington provides water and waste water billing services on a monthly basis. These services include issuing billings for water consumption and waste water charges, reading water meters, and handling requests to turn on or off water services.
Leamington residents have the opportunity to save $3.00/month by signing up for electronic billing.

Change of Information | ||||||||||||
It is important that the Municipality has the most up-to -date contact information. Update your mailing address or other contact information using the change of information form. If you would like to authorize other individuals to access your water and waste water account information please use the water and waste water account authorization form. |

Moving In or Out? | ||||||||||||
Moving In or Out? Customers are required to fill out a change of owner/resident form in order to request a final meter reading and/or set up a new account. 48 hours of notice must be given for a final read. *You are responsible for consumption until final readings have been completed. *There is a $25.00 Account Setup Fee applied to all new accounts. |

Request for Water Shut Off/Turn On | ||||||||||||
A request can be made to have water service shut off and/or turned on. There is a fee for each service that will be added to the water account. Requests for water shut off/turn on must be done at least 48 hours in advance by completing the “Request for Shut Off/Turn On” form. *NEW - As of January 1, 2023 water and waste water base charges will continue to be applied to all metered accounts whether they are connected or disconnected. |

What Services does Leamington Water offer? | ||||||||||||
The Leamington Water Services department offers various services to customers including: leak detection assistance, water disconnects and reconnects, water meter reads, and municipal property locates. These services are provided at no charge, with the exception of disconnects and/or reconnects that are done for seasonal purposes. These types of disconnects/reconnects are completed for a fee of $50, if done during regular business hours. If you require a disconnect and/or reconnect for water service/plumbing repairs there is no charge. Please complete the disconnect/reconnect form if you require this service In addition to these regular services, the Water Services department also offers emergency appointments for leaks from a burst line or pipe and for reports of no water to the property. It is very important that your contact information is up to date so that we can contact you if there is a leak on your property. Please fill out the change of information form to update any contact information. The Water Services department can be reached at 519-326-4454 from Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:30AM until 4:00PM. After hours calls should be directed to the emergency number at 519-326-9212.

Lawn watering; restrictions are in effect from May to September annually. By-law 426-03 outlines the specific restrictions and additional tips can be found in the Union Water brochure. Water conservation; water supplies are not endless. The Municipality's commitment to providing safe drinking water to its customers is confirmed by our Drinking Water Quality Management System Policy and Commitment and Endorsement. The municipal distribution system is audited annually and a Certificate of Registration is issued for the conformance to the Drinking Water Quality Management System Standard and applicable Acts and Regulations.
