Advance Voting Available for Leamington’s 2026 Municipal Election

Leamington voters have three opportunities to cast their ballot before Election Day in the 2026 Municipal Election.

Advance voting will be available on October 10, 17 and 21, giving eligible voters more flexibility to choose a date and time that works for them.

The voting process is the same during advance voting as it is on Election Day. Leamington is using a Vote Anywhere model, which means eligible voters can vote at any available voting location, regardless of where they live in the Municipality.

Election Day is Monday, October 26, 2026. All Election Day voting locations will be open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. If you have not already voted on one of the advance voting days, eligible voters can vote at any of the following locations:

Before heading to vote:

• Check the Voters’ List. Confirm that you are registered and that your name, address and school support information are correct. If you are not on the list or need to make a change, you can submit an amendment online.
  
  
• Bring identification. You will need one piece of acceptable identification showing your name and qualifying Leamington address.
  
  
• Bring your Voter Information Letter, if you receive one. Voter Information Letters have been mailed to electors on the Voters’ List and should arrive by October 9. Your letter is not required to vote, but bringing it with you can help speed up the voting process. If you have not received your Voter Information Letter by October 9, or if the information on your letter is incorrect, contact the Municipality at 844-855-VOTE (8683).
  
  
• Know who is running. Review the certified list of candidates and candidate biographies before you vote.

Unable to vote in person?

Eligible voters who cannot vote during advance voting or on Election Day may appoint another qualified elector to vote on their behalf by proxy.

A proxy certificate is required. Proxy forms must be obtained and certified before Election Day and will not be issued or certified on Election Day.
