Splash Pad

The Municipality of Leamington offers two splash pad locations for families to enjoy throughout the summer season: the Tomato Splash Pad at Seacliff Park and the new Mersea Park Splash Pad. Both locations provide a fun, interactive way to cool off during warm weather.

Hours of Operation

The Municipality of Leamington splash pads are open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM (weather permitting). Public washrooms in all municipal parks remain open. Please follow the Municipality of Leamington on social media for service-related updates.

  • Splash pad is unsupervised
  • Pets are not allowed on the splash pad 
  • All children must have adult supervision at all times
  • Swim diapers are required for all children under 4 years of age
  • Swim suits and/or appropriate attire must be worn at all times
  • Footwear/sandals are strongly recommended
  • No bikes, scooters, skateboards or rollerblades allowed on the splash pad
  • No food or drinks allowed inside the fenced area
  • Climbing on splash pad fixtures is strictly prohibited
  • All participants must conduct themselves in a courteous, safe and family oriented manner
  • No littering
  • Water is chlorinated and re-circulated through a filtration system
  • Splash pad may be closed at any time due to weather, maintenance or other operational issues.

Both of Leamington’s splash pads feature time-delayed, interactive water elements that provide fun for all ages. Whether it’s playing beneath the iconic 90-gallon tomato bucket at Seacliff Park or enjoying the new features at Mersea Park, visitors can run through ground sprays, use water cannons, and cool off on a hot day. Parents and caregivers can relax at shaded tables or lounge chairs while keeping an eye on the fun.
