Council Considers – April 28, 2026

At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, April 28, 2026, Council will:

• Hold a Public Meeting under the Planning Act to consider:
  • An application to rezone 320 Erie Street North to permit the existing house to be used as an off-site farm worker dwelling.

• Consider a report regarding the imposition of fees for benefitting properties in relation to the Queens Avenue, John Street, Albert Street, Baird Avenue and Elliot Street Sewer Separation Project.

• Consider extending the contract to Field Electric Contractors Inc. for one year for the purpose of traffic signal maintenance.

• Consider a Customer Service Policy to establish standards that set the minimum acceptable service levels by the Municipality.

• Consider authorizing Administration to enter into a Letter of Agreement with the Ministry of Transportation under the Dedicated Gas Tax Funds for Public Transportation Program to be used to ensure that local public transportation services continue and to increase overall ridership through the expansion of public transportation capital infrastructure and levels of service.
