Council Considers – August 11, 2026

At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, August 11, 2026, Council will consider:

• Holding a Court of Revision under the Drainage Act and confirm the Schedule of Assessment in the Engineer’s report for the B & C Concession Road Drain East Replacement Access Culvert.
  
  
• Holding a Public Meeting under the Planning Act to consider an Application to rezone vacant lands Southwest of Bevel Line, from a Residential Zone (R3(h)) to a Residential Zone (R3-28(h)).
  
  
• Awarding a contract to replace the bridge on Kildeer Road over the East Marsh Drain to Mark G Contracting Inc. in the amount of $84,540 (plus applicable taxes).
  
  
• Awarding the Kinsmen Baseball Field Lighting project to Clark-Haasen Electric in the amount of $192,276 (plus applicable taxes) and consider entering into a funding agreement with the Leamington District Minor Baseball Association requiring LDMBA to reimburse the Municipality for 50% of the total cost of the project over five consecutive years.
  
  
• Entering into an agreement with Sun Parlour Community Players (The Bank Theatre) for the coordination and delivery of live music programming for the fourth Municipal Market, taking place Friday September 11, 2026.
  
  
• Approving the additional $254,656 including taxes to Amico Infrastructure Inc. to complete required works for the Waterfront Destination Market Plaza.
  
  
• Authorizing the renewal of a lease agreement with the Ministry of Transportation for the Leamington Dock.
