Council Considers – July 14, 2026

At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, July 14, 2026, Council will consider:

  • Holding a Public Meeting under the Drainage Act to consider a report by Rood Engineering for the replacement of an access bridge over the B & C Concession Road Drain East.

  • Holding a Public Meeting under the Planning Act to consider an application to rezone the lands located at 120 Mersea Road 5 to allow the establishment of an Agricultural Contractor’s Yard.

  • Awarding Delta Science and Engineering Inc. the contract to complete the Sturgeon Creek Master Drainage Study in the amount of $213,300 plus applicable taxes.

  • Awarding the 2026 Mersea Road D Resurfacing project to Shepley Road Maintenance in the amount of $566,997 (plus applicable taxes).

  • Awarding the contract for the 2026 Sidewalk Construction Project to Nasci Construction Services Ltd, in the amount of $172,295 (plus applicable taxes) as well as considering the contract budget be extended to include the sidewalk extension on Queens Avenue from Hazelton to Clark Street in the amount of $20,000 (net HST included).

  • A report regarding a proposed amendment to the 2026 Fee Schedule A - Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre and Arena Fees, Schedule E – Planning Services Fees and Schedule L – Engineering Services Fees to include new rentals fees, fees for energy projects and modify fees based on provincial direction.

  • Adopting a report prepared by N.J Peralta Engineering to reflect the utilization of the Hooker Drain for proposed future developments.
