Council Considers – July 22, 2025

At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, July 22, 2025, Council will:

• Present the following 2025 Mayor’s Recognition Awards:
  • Outstanding Youth
  • Distinguished Voluntary Service
  • Community Inspiration
  • Mayor’s Special Award
  • Mayor’s Special Award (Posthumously)
  • Mayor’s Special Award (Heroism)
  • Ontario Senior of the Year

• Consider the appointment of Robert Armstrong as Leamington Deputy Fire Chief and Community Emergency Management Coordinator.

• Consider By-law for the Joseph Julian Drain’s Schedule of Assessment.

• Consider awarding the contract for the Seacliff Drive West Sanitary Sewer Extension, road, and roundabout construction to Sterling Ridge Infrastructure Inc., in the amount of $ 6,902,687.00 (plus applicable taxes).

• Consider the Engineer’s reports for changes in assessment to the Hooker Drain, 8^th Concession Branch of the Big Creek Drain and the 9^th Concession Branch of the Big Creek Drain.

• Consider a Motion to rescind a previous decision of Council concerning the property at 1831 Mersea Road 10.
