Green Bin Reminder

The Essex-Windsor Solid Waste Authority (EWSWA) has began Green Bin collection for single-family homes in the Municipality of Leamington. Collection happens every Tuesday, starting November 3. For more information on the Green Bin Program, visit ewswa.org or call the EWSWA at 1-800-563-3377.

At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, November 10, 2026, Council will consider:

  • Recognizing Fire Chief Don Williamson for 40 Years of Service.
  • Recognizing Accessibility Advisory Award Winner Rielly O’Shaughnessy.
  • Approving an Amendment to 2026 Fee Schedule J – Pollution Control Centre Fees and approving By-law 93-26 being a by-law to amend 83-25 being a by-law to provide for a Tariff of Fees to be charged in 2026 by The Corporation of the Municipality of Leamington.
  • Appointing Bill Dunn and Chad Robinson to the Essex Region Conservation Authority (ERCA) Board effective November 15, 2026 through February 1, 2027.
  • Appointing Paul Tiessen to the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority Board effective November 15, 2026 through February 1, 2027.
