Council Considers – September 8, 2026
At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, September 8, 2026, Council will consider:
- A presentation and report by StrategyCorp for the Recreation Service Delivery Review.
- Moving to a biweekly household waste collection as well as awarding the 2027-2032 Waste Collection contract to Miller Systems Inc (Miller) in the amount of $920,162 excluding HST for year one and adjusting annually over the life of the contract.
- An agreement between the Municipality of Leamington and Caldwell First Nation for the East Marsh Dyke Rehabilitation Project.
- Amendments to a by-law regulating the Operation of Municipal Cemeteries.
- Adopting a Policy to establish requirements for the authorization, installation, operation, management and safeguarding of livestreaming equipment and related data in the Municipal Recreational Facilities, including the Nature Fresh Recreation Centre.
- By-law 79-26 to temporarily delegate certain authority to the Chief Administrative Officer during a Restricted Period.
- Appointing Chris Del Greco to the Union Water Supply System Inc. Board of Directors as the Municipality’s Independent Director.
