Council Matters – October 20, 2026

At the Leamington Council meeting of Tuesday, October 20, 2026 Council:

• Approved Zoning By-law Amendment (ZBA) to rezone 97-99 Seacliff Drive West from a Residential Six Exception Three (R6-3) zone to the Residential Six Exception Six (R6-6) zone, the Residential Six Exception Seven (R6-7) zone, and the Residential Six Exception Eight (R6-8) zone.
• Denied a request for a fee reduction for application B-12-26 to B-19-26 and ZBA 381.
• Approved the 2025 audited consolidated financial statements for the Corporation of the Municipality of Leamington.
• Received the 2025 Year End Financials.
• Approved the purchase of one 2026 544P John Deere Articulating Wheel Loader in the amount of $339,500 (plus HST) from Brandt Tractor Ltd, Oldcastle, ON.
• Adopted a new purchasing policy.
• Affirmed the closure of Gold Coast Road.
