Leamington Dog Park to Close Temporarily During Bayview Park Construction

The Municipality of Leamington advises residents that the leash-free dog park located at 435 Bevel Line will be temporarily closed for approximately four weeks beginning Monday, July 27, 2026, to accommodate construction associated with the development of Bayview Park.

Located south of Bayview Cemetery along Bevel Line, the approximately 12-acre site is being transformed into a regional park that will provide enhanced recreational opportunities for residents and support future residential growth in the area.

For the safety of residents, pets and construction crews, the dog park will remain unavailable throughout the temporary closure. Residents are asked to respect all posted signage and avoid entering closed areas.

The Municipality appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation while this important project moves forward.
