Leamington Municipal Election: Important Information About Voter Information Letter Delivery

The Municipality of Leamington is advising electors that Voter Information Letters (VILs) for the 2026 Municipal Election are being mailed together. Rather than receiving a separate envelope for each eligible elector, households will receive one envelope containing the Voter Information Letters for all eligible electors listed at that address.

Although the envelope is addressed to one individual, it may contain Voter Information Letters for other eligible electors living at the same address. The envelope will indicate the number of individual letters enclosed.

What to Do When You Receive Your Envelope

•  Check the number of letters: The person named on the outside envelope should open it and confirm that the number of enclosed letters matches the number indicated on the envelope. 
• Distribute the letters: Give each Voter Information Letter to the person it is addressed to. Do not open individual letters addressed to someone else.
• Review your information: Each elector should verify that their name, address, and school support designation are correct.
• Report any errors: If you receive a letter for someone who no longer lives at your address, someone you do not recognize, or someone who is deceased, contact the Municipal Elections Office at 844-855-VOTE (8683) or return the unopened individual letter to the Leamington Municipal Building at 111 Erie Street North, Leamington.

If the outer envelope is not addressed to you, please leave it unopened and give it to the person named on the envelope.

If you have not received your Voter Information Letter by Friday, October 9, 2026, please contact the Municipal Clerk's Office at 844-855-VOTE (8683) for assistance.

The 2026 Municipal Election will take place on Monday, October 26, 2026.
